At ICF of Oklahoma, we strive to exceed customer expectations and do all that we can to make sure your ICF construction project goes as smoothly as possible.
Whether it's your first ICF project or you are a seasoned pro with ICF blocks, we can be there each step of the way from material estimating to pour day!
Resilient construction with ICF blocks can help protect homes and buildings from structural damage and ensure the safety of those inside. In addition to the immediate cost and time savings during construction, Quad-Lock ICF offers benefits that will last for generations.
Insulated Concrete Forms provide an ultra-efficient, high mass, and high strength building shell that keeps occupants healthy and comfortable. Their Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) insulation also has much lower environmental impacts than many other insulation materials.
Airtight concrete and continuous insulation of ICF construction contribute to the overall thermal mass of the structure and further reduce energy loss from thermal bridging and air infiltration. This all adds up to energy savings of 50% or more compared to traditional wood framed construction.
Insulated Concrete Forms or Insulating Concrete Forms (ICFs) is a system of form work used in the construction of poured concrete walls. They are typically made of high density expanded polystyrene (EPS) foam blocks that are stacked, braced, reinforced with rebar and serve as a form for the concrete wall.
After the concrete has cured, the forms are left in place for the life of the structure serving as high performing insulation providing a variety of benefits, including:
ICF walls contain thousands of high density polyethylene ties in the foam, that provide attachment points for drywall, siding, exterior cladding, and interior trim. ICF construction combines what would be multiple steps of conventional wood construction, framing, insulating, weather barrier, into one step – saving you time and money and providing a sustainable, resilient, and energy efficient structure.
At ICF of Oklahoma, formerly Insulated Concrete Forms & More, we strive to make building with Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF) a more well known, common, and affordable method of sustainable and green construction for both residential and commercial applications in and around Oklahoma.
